-
- you are typing your text into the wrong window. if correctly connected you will have
- two windows, the command window (the one you are using now) and the chat
- window (type /list in the command line and the available chat areas will come up, double
- click on the one you want, and type away)
-
- remember that some commands go in the chat window (ie: /whois <nick>) and some
- go in the command window (ie: /list, /who, etc) there are also commands
- specific to winirc (ie: /awhois, /beep) that go in the chat window
-
- make sure there are no spaces in your nick (held up a friend of mine)

- Subject: problem accepting multiple connections with PC-NFS :-(
-
- We're having a problem with Sun Select PC-NFS running an SMTP daemon we
- wrote. After dealing successfully with one connection, it refuses all
- further attempts to connect to it. The daemon works fine on all other
- Winsock stacks we've tried. Anyone out there have any experience with this
- sort of problem? Thanks,
-
